Privacy policy

About this policy

Ali V Pty. Ltd. operates alisonvillani.com.au. This policy describes how personal information is handled in connection with the website, which presents Ali Villani’s wellbeing content, blog articles and optional audio recordings. The privacy contact is hello@startwithali.com.au.

Weekly blog subscriptions

The website embeds a weekly blog signup form hosted by Brevo and also links to that form directly. The form asks for your first name, email address and explicit consent to receive Ali’s weekly blog. These details are submitted directly to Brevo and used to manage and send the weekly blog emails. Signup is direct, without a confirmation email.

Brevo email open and click tracking is disabled.

Consent and unsubscribing

Subscribing to the weekly blog is optional. You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in blog emails or contact hello@startwithali.com.au for help. Ali V Pty. Ltd. honours unsubscribe preferences. Weekly blog consent does not provide consent to unrelated lists or change your guide or quiz preferences.

Email enquiries

The “Email Ali” button and email address link open the visitor’s own email application. The website does not submit an enquiry form or itself collect, store or transmit the resulting message. When you send an email, Ali V Pty. Ltd. receives and handles it through Titan, its email provider. Your email address, name and any information you include are used to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting correspondence or working relationship. Your own email provider also handles the message you send. Please do not include sensitive medical information in emails.

Analytics and cookies

The website includes Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and page use. Google Analytics sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_…, each lasting about two years) that store random identifiers used to distinguish visits, and it collects the pages viewed, how the site is used, and browser and device information such as browser type, screen size and approximate location. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The signup form is hosted separately by Brevo. We do not intentionally send your name or email address to Google Analytics.

The website’s hosting and security providers (Lovable and Cloudflare) also set short-lived technical cookies needed to deliver and protect the site. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Hosting, external services and links

Lovable hosts the website and delivers its pages, images and audio through Cloudflare’s global network of data centers. Lovable Cloud stores blog content and editor account information in Tokyo, Japan. Brevo processes weekly blog subscription details in the European Union (France, Germany and Belgium). Titan handles enquiry emails using infrastructure in the United States. Google processes analytics information through its global network of data centers. Each of these involves processing personal information outside Australia.

These are the confirmed primary storage locations. Providers may also process information in other locations — for example content delivery, backups, operational logs and support access — so this list is not an exhaustive account of all processing or international transfers.

Better After 40 and quiz buttons take you to startwithali.com.au for separate signup processes. Instagram and Arbonne links also lead to external services. Please review the privacy information provided by those services when using them.

Security

Ali V Pty. Ltd. uses its service providers to handle website content, subscriptions and emails. Service credentials are not exposed to visitors. No security measure is an absolute guarantee.

Retention

  • Subscriber details are retained while the person remains subscribed, with an annual review of inactive contacts.
  • After unsubscribing, only information needed to honour the unsubscribe preference and relevant consent evidence is retained.
  • Enquiry emails are reviewed after 12 months and those no longer needed are deleted. Ongoing business correspondence is retained according to its purpose and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Privacy requests and complaints

You can email hello@startwithali.com.au to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy concern.

Ali V Pty. Ltd. will acknowledge requests and complaints within seven days and aim to respond within 30 days. Identity verification may be required to protect your information. If more time is needed, Ali V Pty. Ltd. will explain the reason and expected timeframe.

If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, Ali V Pty. Ltd. will explain the limits and reasons. For example, some information may need to be retained to honour an unsubscribe preference, preserve relevant consent evidence or meet applicable recordkeeping requirements.

We will investigate your concern, review the relevant information and explain our findings and any action we will take. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au to enquire about available complaint options.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our website, services or information handling practices. The current version will be available on this page with its effective date.
